Michinoku
Michinoku
The Honolulu Advertiser (a newspaper) has a section about food and restaurants, and every week they have an article about a new restaurant. I found an article about a little Japanese restaurant that supposedly serves extremely good Japanese food. Well, turns out they were right. We ordered one of their ahi bowls, ikura bowls, and two of the sets. It was a little pricey, (70 sumthin for four of us) but it was quite good. The ahi bowl was extremely tasty. The ahi was a deep dark red color, and the sets had a lot of little dishes! The ikura bowl was just okay. I didn't think it was amazing, but it wasn't bad either. The restaurant was small, but it was cozy, clean, and very japanese looking! While we were there, we even saw a chef come in and eat as well. (Chefs know where to eat good food!).
