Okay, I know my post about my red white and blue ice cream cake (actually it's pink, but that's not important..) on july 4th didn't have a picture, so here it is!!! It actually turned out quite well, despite my..well...my time issues...I didn't understand why my cake part was so hard when Cold Stone Creamery's cake part is soft. My dad said maybe cause theirs uses shortening, and something about shortening not freezing or something. I'm not sure. All I know is that I used a sponge cake for the cakey part and uh, well I'm pretty sure it didn't use any butter. Does that make it freeze or something??? Cause I'm definitely confused...
