Hot Chocolate Bars

Ugh, it’s so hot here. I know hot chocolate the most popular drink to consume right now. But these hot cocoa bars are so good. No one will be able to resist these. A chocolate shortbread cookie base with slightly melted marshmallows. Irresistible.

Sorry this post is so short. I have to work on a fence. ugh. Okay, well off to go stick some posts in the ground!

Hot Cocoa Bars - Printer Friendly Version
½ cup butter
1/3 cup dark chocolate
½ cup hot chocolate powder or cocoa powder
1 egg
2 tablespoons milk powder
½ cup sugar
1 ½ cup flour
2 cups marshmallows

1. Preheat oven to 350˚F
2. Melt butter and chocolate in a sauce pan. Pour in to a large mixing bowl.
3. Add in chocolate powder, egg, milk powder, and sugar
4. Mix in flour.
5. Press into a greased 8x8 pan
6. Bake for 15 minutes
7. Top with marshmallows, bake for 2 more minutes
8. Enjoy!
