Chocolate Bars

Chocolate Bars
Yay, it’s summer. It’s soooo hot though. Maybe even too hot to turn on the oven….nah. Just kiddin. These chocolate bars are great for a picnic or day at the beach. Plus, like a lot of the stuff I usually make, it’s easy too. I was too lazy to make individual cookies, so I pressed the dough into a pan and …ta dah! A super big square cookie just waiting to be cut into individual squares! And then taken to the beach to be gobbled up :)

  1. This is a great way to use up the hundreds (maybe a little less) of containers of hot cocoa mix I have still leftover from christmas gifts! Thanks for the recipe. I never really use those mixes anyway - I usually just mix my milk with melted chocolate- it's so much more decadent that way!

  2. I have a TON of chocolate mixes too! They were taking up too much room, so I had to use them up!

  3. What can you substitute if you don't have milk powder? Thanks!

  4. I'm pretty sure normal milk would work just as well. Or you can always just leave it out.
